Council Velvicut Double Bit Saddle Axe with 16” Hickory Handle

Crafted for superior versatility, this premium packable axe features an extremely sharp 25-degree flat grind on one blade that is ideal for cutting, shaving, and carving. The other blade’s more robust 32-degree flat grind is well-suited for notching, splitting, and heavier jobs. Phantom bevels bite deep into the wood and allow for easy removal of the axe bit after cuts. Drop forged from 5160 steel for excellent blade retention. 2 lb. Double bit axe head. 16”L Hickory handle. Includes leather blade cover. Made in USA.
