J.R. Fire Tools Pounder II Head

Custom designed by a professional wildland Fire Captain with nearly 20 years of experience! These patent-pending wildland firefighting tools meet U.S.F.S, Cal-Fire and B.L.M. specifications and provide unique, specific functions that no other hand tools offer. Featuring large heads with 3 sharpened sides, these heads are created with a special heat-treating process that makes them superior to other hand tools. Ideal for fireline construction and trail building, the Pounder II lets you fall trees and fight fire at the same time! Great for Fire Crew Puller positions, the Pounder II features a true 8˝W x 9-1/2˝ Tall blade on one side with a 3-1/2˝ x 1-1/2˝ double-plated pounding hammer on the other side that can be used for wedging trees over. Blade allows for up to 6˝ of digging depth. Handle/Neck kit must be ordered separately.
