Hi-Combat Class A Fire Fighting Foam, 5 Gallons

This versatile, synthetic fire fighting foam reduces the surface tension of water for increased penetrating power into Class A fires such as forest and wildland fires, structural fires, tire fires, and paper fires. The foaming agents provide a blanket of protection which clings to vertical surfaces, foliage, roof eaves, and shingles. The foam can be applied using a variety of methods, including conventional fog nozzles, air aspirating nozzles, fixed or rotary wing delivery systems, and compressed air foam systems (CAFS). The foam can be premixed with cold, fresh, brackish, or salt water. One 5 gallon pail produces 500 to 5,000 gallons of foam solution. Biodegrades quickly. Foam has USDA Forest Service approval, meets NFPA 298, and meets the criteria for use in ground apparatus, helicopter buckets, and fixed wing aircraft. Storage temperature: -50°F to 122°F (-46°C to 50°C). Freeze point: 5°F (-15°C).
